چکیده

Microalgae-mediated CO2 sequestration has been a subject of numerous research works and become one the most promising strategies to mitigate carbon dioxide emissions. However, feeding flue exhaust gas into algae-based systems shown destroy chloroplasts, as well disrupt photosynthesis other metabolic processes in microalgae, which directly limits uptake. biosequestration existing photobioreactors (PBRs) is also limited by low biomass concentration growth medium. Therefore, there real need seek alternative solutions that would be competitive terms performance cost-effectiveness. The present paper reports results experiments aimed develop an innovative trickle bed reactor uses immobilized algae capture from (IMC-CO2PBR). In experiment, ambient air enriched with technical-grade 25% v/v was used. microalgae immobilization technology employed experiment produced yields approximating 100 g DM/dm3. A relationship found between removal rates volume flux: almost 40% removed at feed 25 dm3 per hour, whereas 200 dm3/h group, efficiency amounted 5.9%. work includes determination basic process parameters, presentation developed functional model optimized lighting system, proposals for components used recommendations automation control system full-scale implementation.
